Seriously, our story is about what we call "The Process":
1.) Identify if you should stay or go (and why) at your current company
2.) Figure out where & why you'll thrive & make better career steps
3.) Set up phone calls, maybe a Skype or an off-site for coffee/smoothie/lunch . . .etc.
4.) What's your time-frame?
5.) Make sure you and a new employer know what each other wants (critical step here!)
6.) Present terms from the new employer and smooth out any corners
7.) Double check everyone is happy with what they want and say YES or NO
We can modify this process depending on circumstances so don't sweat it if there's not 100% ability to get all of it done. Remember, NEVER pay a recruiter when you're looking to change firms.
